Excellent Achievements in 2015:
- Gary-Paige managed to achieve a gold medal and five silver medals for his various races at the level 3 swimming competition in Port Elizabeth. Currently he is the fastest butterfly swimmer in his age group in South Africa and has now qualified to attend the Senior National Swimming Competition to be held in Durban in 2016.
- Congratulations to Gary-Paige who participated in the National Texas Open Gala this past weekend (1 Aug). He has caused rather a sensation and upset more than a few swimmers and parents by taking 4 GOLD medals in the events that he entered. And then just to rub salt into a few more wounds the relay team that he was swimming for walked off with a further 2 GOLD medals!!!
Laiken managed to earn a gold medal and silver medal in her races at the level 3 swimming competition in Port Elizabeth. She is currently ranked second in South Africa in her age group and has her sights set firmly on going to Durban in 2016 for the Senior National Competition.
