Sports & Extra-Curricular Activities:
Although we do not offer sport as part of our school day, learners do physical education during the Life Orientation periods. Our learners also participate in numerous club sports e.g. soccer, golf, squash as well as surfing. A number of learners have obtained National Colours codes like Wake Boarding, Surfing, Body Boarding, Motor Cross, Quad Biking, and Ice Skating.
One of the highlights of the year is our annual Beach Day. The whole school congregates on the beach and spends a sports day playing volley ball, touch rugby, beach cricket, and even a tug of war. This event is organised by the Students’ Council and learners participate in teams.
Annual functions are organised by the students, such as a Valentines’ Ball, and Matric farewell. Market Days, as part of the EMS learning area, are also organised by students to raise funds for different projects.
Our learners contributes towards charity projects for Aids children, xenophobic victims, our local hospital, and animal welfare projects.
As part of our career education programme, learners do a spell of job shadowing in Grade 11. This forms part of our Life Orientation program. Learners are expected to compile a CV, apply for a position, and report back
